Newbiggin Hall was a small working farm until 20 years ago when it became a private family house before we decided to share the lovely views and furnishings with B & B guests.
The house is set in a quiet rural location which is both peaceful and tranquil, yet only one mile from Ulverston. We are actually situated on the Cumbria Way and have stunning views of Coniston Old Man to the north and the famous Hoad Monument to the south.
3 minutes away is the charming market town of Ulverston, birth-place of the famous Stan Laurel, and home to the Laurel and Hardy Museum.
Ulverston a market town with an assortment of specialist shops also boasts many festivals throughout the year and not to be missed is a walk along the local canal which is the shortest, deepest and widest in the world.
Finally Newbiggin Hall is a great base from which to explore the Lake District National Park with all its splendour and many attractions.
A warm welcome waits.
